These songs were from an era when music was music. Who knows, maybe one day it will come back.

Subject: Superb
Can't praise this enough. It's this sound that got me interested in non-contemporary music to begin with. Thanks a million!

Subject: sadly forgotten greats
Most of these are great examples of the time. Deep night has a creepy coolness to it. Ted Weems really stands out here. Parker Gibbs had the perfect vocal qualities to do this, almost sarcastic.

Subject: great collection
fantastic collection of timeless songs from the REAL golden age of pop music. Rudy Vallee's version of Deep Night ranks among the most haunting and beautiful pieces of music ever recorded and alone makes this collection worth a listen.
